ABOUT US
- Outreach Ministry
M25 isn’t your typical outreach ministry. Here’s how it works: We bring our food trailer into communities and offer free meals to residents. We let this free gift of food reflect the free gift of the Gospel. When people come to our food trailer, we pray for them, share the Gospel, give them Gospel resources, and connect them with a local church.
- Deliveries
M25 also partners with churches to provide deliveries for the sick, homebound, elderly, those who have lost jobs, those who have lost loved ones, and those who are going through very difficult situations. We work with volunteer delivery drivers to spread out to several counties.
-Homeless Shelters
M25 partners with homeless shelters to provide a quality meal for the homeless community.
-Disaster Relief
M25 is available for disaster relief when tragedy strikes. We work with volunteers to serve boxed meals and deliver food where it is needed
OUR STORY
My name is Eli Akin and I started M25 Barbecue, Inc. back in the pandemic of 2020. I was reading Matthew 25 one morning and I was convicted about my servant heart. I began to see all of the people hurting during the pandemic and asked the Lord what I could do. God birthed something that I wasn’t expecting. He took something I love and He turned it into a way to serve others.
This is definitely a family ordeal. My wife, Whitney, helps me with scheduling, serving at outreach events, and food prep. My kids Evangeline, Beatrice, and L.D. are always excited for the events and it is a joy to serve together as a family.
What I hope others can see through M25 is that you do not have to be a great speaker or musician to do what God has called you to do. All you have to do is take what you love to do, surrender it to the Lord, and ask him to use it. I am constantly amazed at how God is using M25 Barbecue! It will forever be one of the greatest blessings in my life that came from one of the worst years.
